  • Introduce students to the origin, nature, and scope of Social Anthropology and its relations with other social science branches.
  • Bring various social systems of tribal communities, such as family, clan, and marriage, to the notice of students.
  • Introduce students to tribal economy, faith, religion, magic, and their political systems.
  • Inform students about problems faced by tribals, reformative programs, and various schemes addressing their issues.
